我是中国地质大学的一名大一学生，我名字叫吕洋，目前在人文经管学院管理科学与工程类专业学习。来到大学，我感觉一切都充满新鲜感，尤其是来到了首都，我充分感受到了这里浓郁的当志愿者的氛围，受其影响，我觉得志愿者活动是一件对己对人都很好的事情。
在我的家乡，虽然人们有一些对社会做贡献的意识，但是志愿者这样的活动并没有那么浓厚的氛围，因此自己也失去了许多参加社会活动的机会，看到电视上那些充满活力的志愿者们，我梦想着有一天这样的事情会发生到我的身上。如今，梦想照进现实，面对这样的一次志愿活动的机会，我不想错过。
在我看来，当一名志愿者并不是一种负担，在你选择他的时候，是出于自己的意愿并非他人强加，这就是一种担当，对自己的一次锻炼，是我们走向社会的第一步。通过志愿活动，我们了解了社会，增进了自己适应社会的能力，有助于形成自己对这个社会的观点和看法。
